If you are looking for a memento of the season or something to give the grandparents you should take a look at some of the pictures that Mike Victory took out at the track by following this link: Michael Victory BMX
Mike did an awesome job of capturing the kids in action. If you are interested in ordering anything from Mike you should contact him first as he may be able to save you some shipping charges.
What a great end to our season. 62 full trackers and 17 half trackers racing under the lights having nothing but fun.
We voted in a new executive team made up of a mix of existing and new members that are all set to keep the family friendly atmosphere at Ridge going.
Thanks so much to all the racers, parents and volunteers for making this such a fantastic season at the track.
Final points and results are posted.
Our year end wind up party is coming up quickly. If you raced at least 5 full track races, up to and including the September 4th race, you and your family are invited to attend the wind up party happening at Hyde Creek pool on Saturday, September 29th.
We will start at 5:30 sharp with pizza and awards in the gym, please be sure to arrive on time as we need to exit the gym by 6:30. After the gym, anyone that wants to swim can head into the pool for some fun and the rest can socialize in a meeting room we have booked upstairs overlooking the pool. Parking at the pool is free, lockers are a refundable quarter and the track is paying for dinner and swim admission.
If you have not signed up yet, please do so at the concession on Tuesday night or send an email using the "Contact Us" form on the website.
When we finally turned off the lights tonight the track was still glowing from stray glow sticks that had fallen off bikes. They were easy to find in the dark!
75 full track riders and 22 half trackers lit the track up tonight, mains in 5 and 6 Novice, 9 Intermediate and even a semi in the cruiser class, awesome.

The first Canadian Supercross race in Abbotsford is now in the books. The race action today was unbelievable with all the Canadian riders putting in a great effort and our Olympian Tory Nyhaug showing that he has what it takes to be a regular on the podium. A bit of bad luck in the final round resulted in a crash but Tory was up and racing for the fourth spot. Great show of sportsmanship at the end, we couldn't ask for a better ambassador for our sport. The Dutch riders ruled the day with Twan Van Gendt having enough first straight speed to stay out of trouble and win the mens side while Laura Smulders had luck go her way when a flying Felcia Stancil crashed while leading through the third straight. Congratulations to all riders and thanks to Cycling BC and all the volunteers for bringing this awesome event to Canada!
